How is it possible? Did you strip it off completely (as shown in your pictures) without removing the sound-deadener?

Don't know what you're looking at but my rear seat original sound deadining material and interior floor deadining material is original and never removed. I'll take a detailed picture for you. I soda blasted the undercarriage but not inside the cab. Again, no need as the car was and still is original material there.
Yes, absolutely. The floors are in wonderful original shape so I wasn't going to remove the original material. The only rust on this car was in the parcel shelf. I replaced the front pan only because it had been done before and not up to my standards. Here's a picture of the floor. -Scott
