Yup, a boring match and I´m an "anything but United" supporter anyway ;-)
Please take a look at these pics. The hole where the harness enters the smugglers box does not look enlarged. The rubber ring is glued, so I would have to pry it off to say for sure, but I don´t think that is necessary??

This part is missing from my box with Webasto parts.

I have one somewhere, but believe it came from another car. There are no holes in the smugglers box to attach it in the same location as seen in the pictures posted by the other guys..

Thanks, Radmund
thats the big hole...the non transistor is only 1/3 of the size of this one.
with the grommet mounted one can`t see if it has been enlarged...you know what to do now(befor onset of winter and freezing temp.that would make the rubber stiff),right ?
in return i show you a something that needs to be fixed....one day
am i seeing the squarish holes here ?
A quiet Friday evening, the kids finally asleep. What better to do than crawl around in a trunk??
But, we hate stiff rubber, so better get it off right away.
The hole is 3 cm, maybe a mm or two less.

I´m sorry but there are no holes of any size or shape in the smugglers box towards the front...
What do you think could be the reason for making the hole covered with the grey plug that you have marked for me??
usually the HI-FI guys are the ones to blame
thanks for your efforts Radmund...and a great big round of applause for your late nite gymnastics.
the hole is factory...
no holes for the prestole cages...
bump in the lid....
now i need to decide which of my theories should make it in the history-books.
