Rick, check out 'Shop for Covers'. They make one for G series. 3 layer. Inner is soft, middle is a breathable waterproof membrane and outer is smooth. $200 usd.
Rick I have a factory Porsche (silver) outdoor cover if you're interested. I'm not sure what its supposed to fit as I know it didn't fit a 997 but do know it fits an air cooled 911.

Rick,
I used a car cover with “Noah” fabric for an E30 M3 I stored outside one winter. The snow, rain, etc didn’t penetrate the cover in any way. Check autogeek.net for a write up on the material.

Thanks Andy. I just jumped over to check it out. $675 yikes!
Rick, if it is for your RS then how about this I’m told it a display at peteren Museum. Not my photo just find it on www — hardly discrete but apt for a big boy toy Attachment 613358
No Steve, can’t leave that outside. Friend is building a garage and needs to leave the car outside for a few months during construction. It’s a Targa, nothing to leave outside over time in the rain.
Go rent a storage locker if it's short term. Short shipping container would work too.
Think this is across the USA from you, but may be of interest to others.
