Were you able to find some pics? I'd like to see them also.

The parts manual has good representations of these parts, maybe some one could scan and post. The parts were supplied by Porsche, but installed by dealers or other shops. My understanding is that A/C was not installed by the factory until '69.The installations I've seen are pretty barbaric, and a long way from the standard one would expect on his Porsche. There are also plenty of aftermarket systems running around, that are even worse.
I have them on one of my laptops, I'll see if I can post. If not I'll send them.
I was also able to source a (used) complete early A/C :) , which is still boxed up.

Someone had posted a '67S for sale that had an original A/C.
Here are some pictures of the interior controls, which are different from the later split ones.

The receiver-dryer filter and front condenser are mounted in the left side front fender.

I have a factory diagram (up to ’71) showing that the later A/C receiver-dryer in the left fender well (STRA 19, fig. 5). The front condenser is under the front pan in later models, at least that is where the shop manual shows it (STRA 13, 19 fig 3.).
I’d scan in the factory workshop manual (Reparaturleitfaden), for the A/C but it’s 30 pages long (STRA 13-43).
