After much research and asking several sources i choose a ppg product, their dbc line of paint. The color code is #936 which is a porsche color code. I think my color is very close to correct. Even if it is not, i love it. I wish you all the best on your project.

Update: I have been struggling to get the car to run as it should. It would idle and run during normal driving well enough, but put your foot in it, and it acted as if it was fuel starved from about 4000 RPM to 7000 RPM. David Leivian took the car back recently and attempted to adjust the MFI pump on the car to correct the issue to no avail. After consulting with the experts - Ed, Gus, Hans and Mark Jung it was decided to pull the pump off and send it out for more work.
2 1/2 yrs ago when I was still finding and rebuilding the bits and pieces I would need to rebuild the car I determined to make my 2.4L engine and 2.7L RS engine instead (read - hotrodder by nature). I was going to have to buy new pistons and jugs anyway, so why not? Turns out I ended up also having to buy a new period correct fender oil cooling set up (all new from Porsche since I could not find a usable used set up) and was looking to save a bit of money and after to talking with a few people decided I did not need to spend another $1000 on the RS cam for the MFI pump because the 2.4L S cam was so rich anyway, so I was told. Well, that was a mistake as it turns out. Chalk up another paycheck to the "car education fund". Anyway, if I had it to do over again I would have stayed with the 2.4L and saved myself several thousand dollars.
Anyway, I hopeful to have the pump back in a month or so and be up and running again, this time with a much faster car. Maybe that will take the sting out of extra expense.

You won’t be sorry once you get the proper spacer on. There is a worl of difference between a 2.4 and a 2.7. Oodles of torque.

That is one beautiful car you have there. Going to Parade this year? Mr. Mayo is always there with his tools.
