    2014 Pinehurst Concours and Fairway Drive (Cars & Coffee)

    Anyone planning to attend the Concours and Fairway Drive (Cars & Coffee) in Pinehurst next weekend? If memory serves, I think the Early S Registry was represented last year. The Ingrams are heavily involved so Porsche will be nicely represented by quality offerings from The Ingram Collection. Magnus Walker will be attending again this year as well as Chad McQueen. The ex-Steve McQueen Jaguar XKSS will be on display Sunday at the Concours. If you can make it into town on Saturday the Fairway Drive event will stage on the same showfield as the Concours on Sunday and this is a no-charge event that runs from 8-1 on Saturday. Sunday Concours tickets are available for $50 and the gates open at 9am and the show concludes at 4pm. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will have a nice turnout....please plan to make it down to Pinehurst if you can. I will post updates throughout the week. Marvin

    I'm going and looking forward to it. It was great last year with lousy weather. This year should be terrific. Special group of 911 Turbos celebrating th 40th year of the Turbo.

    I'm pleased to let everyone know that my gold car was invited to be included in the event this year.
    After many days of wearing out countless toothbrushes and Q-tips, it's almost presentable.

    The event featured 119 world class vehicles. Here's a foto of Class 8 - Sports and GT Cars 65-76.

    Mark that is a great looking 911, I remember your car from last years Fairway Drive. Rick we will post many pictures starting with early arrivals tomorrow, Iron Mike Rally on Friday, Fairway Drive on Sat and the Concours on Sunday. Stay tuned!
