Opinions on aftermarket galvanized fuel tanks...

Has anyone had experience with the aftermarket tanks being offered by Stoddard, Sierra Madre, etc.? They are about half the money of those offered by Porsche. With all the time and money spent on my 73 restoration, I like the idea of having a new tank and want to make the right choice. Thanks for any sharing any thoughts/experiences.

    Hi Mac,
usually P. sells Dansk fuel tanks, the same you can find on Ebay for half price.
(I really don't know if S.M and Stoddard sells the same), anyway the main difference is in marketing and not in quality.

    I do ! the 2.2 is 44 and 3.2 is 30.
    And both still work good.
I'm gonna change it but just because I need a plastic one for my S/T recreation.
