A peek into the Inner Sanctum

I have known Jim Braezeale for over 10 years now and have bought parts from him for both Porsches I have owned during that time.

It is now to the point where the whole game is to see if he can continue his perfect record of finding & handing me exactly what I'm looking for every time I need a part, no matter how strange, rare or eccentric - he has yet to fail me. Many of us could never have built our cars without Jim's supply of goodies, advise, astonishing range of Porsche knowledge and common sense tips on what's right and what is not. Today, it involved a perfect pair of NOS front license plate brackets so I can drive Ruprecht without worrying about the California Gestapos nicking me for not displaying one.

Photo #1 is a shot of Jim welcoming his guests earlier today, standing next to his trusty Sepia '73 911 with short-stroke 3.2 liter motor and its one-off Abarth six-pipe exhaust, and 915 box, just as he's been doing for 15 years now since the formation of R Gruppe. He started EASY about 38 years ago. The rest of the shots are of a few of the inside storage areas at EASY.

If there's any truth in the old saying that a clean desk is the sign of a diseased mind, then Jim is the healthiest of us all - don't let the clutter fool you - he knows the exact location of every nut, bolt & washer in the whole place with absolute certainty.
