    1971 911T 23k original miles

Ok, so 60 days turned into 120.

I'll post it for sale here next week (hopefully) and if no serious bites on to eBay, then on to what one of the auction houses.

Here are a few more photos. By the way: Those are the tourist plates that came on the car when new. The original owners, Mr. Ken C. and his wife, toured Europe for a couple of weeks before shipping it back to Houston.

And why would the moderators allow this seemingly "For Sale" ad here? Because technically the car is still not for sale and if anyone asks for more pics and price I'm not prepared to provide those at the moment.

    So there.

Technically, it has a 72/73 mirror on the driver's door. Fortunately, the proper large durant uses the same mounting holes and base gasket.

From the factory that way; along with the 3/71 dated flat Fuchs.

Not swiss cars but UK cars had round Durant still in 74 and I think in 75 too.
Flag mirrors were also added by dealers in 72/73 on 71 cars at no cost, as it was a safety feature and looked modern.

You really need a hobby Rick.

    Another hobby.

Car sold to a collector in California 4 years ago. And besides the ebay ad I believe you'll find the car discussed here in the "for sale" section.

Would have loved to be marketing both cars at the same time just to see how restored vs original debate played out. Unfortunately a lot has happened in 4 years so difficult to say.

And no, it's not my place to publicly divulge the selling price of the 71.
