    Could Someone Help Identify This Part? (Air box of some kind?)

    Could anyone help me know what part this is? (MFI air regulator of some kind?)

    and what model & year is correct for it?

    it looks like an MFI air box of some kind, but even if that is correct, i don't know what years are correct. it's in very good shape.

    I believe that is the piece that sends hot air from the heat exchangers to the intake for better cold starting and faster warm-up.

    That is what it does. It was used in 72 and 73 MFI cars.

    well, i was hoping to hear from a member with great credibility. it doesn't get much better than jim breazeale. it looked like MFI to me, but i had no idea on the model year.
