    What is a torsion rod?

A torsion bar is the spring inside the torsion tube connecting to the spring plate. Since you cannot see it, the color is not important, but originals are reddish brown, or brownish red.

I think SV does know, and he gave you your answer. A reddish brown, similar to the early heater flappers and/or Webasto heater.

I see that it is for the maroon side.
My question was which color number it is.
    RAL is a Color code.

Not sure of the RAL or Pantone. This may help some..

Hi, we had the colour mixed and have been powder coating these the correct colour for 5 years now. It is the same colour we use on the rear heater pods for LWB cars.

I will see what pics I have.

I reckon your powder coater is steering clear of the splines?
    That would be a headache!

It's never a good thing when threads and splines get powder coated. It makes a for a ton of extra work.

They are masked, that would be a nightmare. All the splines are super clean so adjusting the ride height is pain free.
