Took a drive up the north face to Big Bear Lake from the desert. It was 100 degrees today at 2 O'clock when I left the house. 10% to 16% grade up and down with plenty of curves and switch backs. Tuned my carbs yesterday so I pushed it hard up the hill to check how my engine temp would handle the hard climb on an extremely hot afternoon. She did magnificent. Max temp was about 3/4 on my temp gauge and 220 on my thermometer dip stick and since I have what you guys would call a gutless car I was floored almost the entire climb other than the switch backs but the ride down I'll give you guys a run for your money.
