    Holes on dashboard 911 2.4E

    Hello everyone,

Allow me a question for the renovation of my 911 2.4e because I know some know or have this model here ...
A hole in the dashboard concerns me, what do you think was the original button?
    great thank you

Also two small holes used to accommodate a small plexi plate noted PORSCHE not? Found?

A big thank you to all

I would suspect that it was used for the gas heater switch. Being that you are in Belgium, your car has a good chance of having been delivered from the factory with a gas heater. Look for the signs that a gas heater was installed. I used to have a 72 911S Targa and that is where the gas heater switch was located.

    Regards

Bingo! That is the gas heater switch location on my ROW 73S and shown in the owners manual.
