    Durant Mirror Police Needed!

    Hoping someone can verify/confirm that the small Durant mirror pictured below is an original and not repro. I believe the markings are correct, as is the fixed stud post.

    I am preparing to list this for sale and want to confirm that it is, in fact, an original before I list it as such. It was represented as original NOS when I purchased it, but just want to confirm.

    Looks correct to me as the threaded pins are longer on the repros I have seen.

    If the gasket is a hard plasic as opposed to soft rubber rubber style then that will be original too.

    You probably know this was not used past the very early 69 models (at least I think thats when they went to the larger durant)

    Thanks, Guys. The general consensus (both here and on the 912 Registry Forum, where I spend more time) is that it is an original mirror. This confirms what I believed. Thanks again for the input!

    The repo stamping is not as crisp as yours also.....
