    yep, that is the one I was thinking of. I bid on that but knew it was going north of 40 and let it go.

    seems this guy is a flipper. and with that history of bad deals I wouldn't send him a dime.

    If you still want the car then show up, see car, take cash with you, insist he goes with you to DMV to transfer title while you have a buddy sit on the car.

    Thx. Unfortunately I live in the UAE and want the car shipped to Belgium, so I cant show up and check the car. Really dont know what to do with this one. The car looks good enough though.

    Problem is that you may never get that car. But you could certainly be out $46k.

    I usually never bid on cars far away unless known seller - as in known here on this board.

    Yeah I catch your drift. I have a few friends going to SFO shortly so they can check it out there, and apparently he claims to have done business with persons I know very well, so I ll talk to them. I ll be very careful and keep you posted! Thx
