    On the way to Dana Point I usually stop at 'Family Classics' in Capistrano...... Well it seems they went out of business a few months ago an a U-Haul rental took it's place... About a block further was another classic car sale/consignment place..........

    - Shelby GT500
    - '69 Camaro COPO clone/w a new type crate ZL1 ... looked pretty good
    - I told'ya I'm partial to '67 type ones.... This clean but unremarkable stocker was $14K...

    After checking in to my hotel I lined up for for Jeff Trask's Sat. afternoon 356/912/911 tour up Ortega HWY to the Lake Elsinore overlook.....
    This is about the fourth time I've done this and it's always a fun time.... Thanks again Jeff ........

    Cool

    After the tour you relax and get ready for the Stoddard Saturday evening cocktail party......... The party is in the area just adjacent to the park where the concours take place the next day.

    No pics of the eating, drinking and merriment.......
    However I do like to take a couple of pics of the area, kind'of'the 'calm before the storm' the next day..........

    For the last few years us Early 911 guys have been gathering early Sunday morning to drive in together... A pancake joint on the other side of PCH does just fine.........

    My old friend Steve Foster of SWB Studio http://www.swbstudios.com/index.html debuted a SWB project his been working on for over 10 years.........
    - 3.4 short stroke twin plug with a'lot'of squeeze w about 300 HP..........
    - Non-stock silver/beige/green metallic, real MiniLites, skinny tires, and some SoCal Kar Kulture pin stripping..........

    Steve says 'so far it's a real handful'....

    It's very nicely done.........

    We called Jeff from the pancake joint to ask when to get in line, he said 'Come on up right now' and we loaded in to event without any waiting at all... very smooth........ Thanks a third time Jeff...
