Im sure this a dumb question;but Im gonna ask it anyway. What does "bump" mean"? Im guessing its nothing to do with a pregnant ladies tummy?

A bump is a message that moves the affected thread back up to the top of the affected section...a way to rejuvenate the thread...

I would not be able to explain better, thanks Peter

Got it, thanks Peter. That explains why the rules say you can't bump more than 5 times.

Don't the rules also state that a part has to have come from a Long hood 911 to be posted in this section?
This particular radio has never been installed in a 911 or, most likely, never been even near one.
What is it doing here and why is it allowed?

    Regards

    Jim
PS: Nothing wrong other than the fact it is not from a Porsche but is a generic radio (maybe was removed from a Citroen?) and probably was made in the mid 70s. Also it is a European version and not appropriate for US 911s, either.

I feed off of experts like Mr. Breazeale...thus, moved to Other Porsche Parts...

Upon further review, specifically of the below web site, I believe this radio can be viewed as applicable to early 911's.

Some of these parts are in a little bit of a grey area. Hopefully Discussion Board members will agree in general with my assessment.
