I had the same problem, and what happened was that they had sent me the wrong tank, also like Ed Mayo says, after market parts are not perfect, even from Danks.
Solved the problem by having them send me another one.
Also this time of year, every one here is getting ready to close for vacation, so response could be late.

Dave, I know the unions on the back of my tank were repositioned by Chesterton's for this reason. Kind regards, Gitesh

Brainwave after the 4 am piss. Blank the middle one. Use the other large plug.... Bingo. So, i will use an old mesh filter fitting, no mesh as the return. Who said lying awake was bad for ya.

Double trouble, Dansk and repro. I bought one and knew about the problem, cant beat the price.

Make every effort to make the Dansk work because there aren't many options.

A couple of years ago I pulled my CIS tank and installed an RS tank which utilizes two fittings (in-out). Plumbing is easy because it rides low in the car. Of course this required the services of Keith Walters at Zuffenhaus who provided a skid plate to protect it. I called it a wash. No chance of rust.
