Anybody know this "HPV" over on the Bird

Never posts any pictures with his "for sale" threads, I think he just likes to collect email addresses. Anyone ever buy anything from him?

I've seen his ads before and always thought them to be odd. He does list a phone # with the correct area code for Thousand Oaks. 10-15 minutes from me.

One of my cars used to be his, separated by another 'previous owner' but he was helpful when I bought the car and the work he had done to the car during his ownership was done by the right guys

I bought a car from Henry back in the 70's. He is a nice guy, but from what I have heard, he has some personal issues he's dealing with. Not sure I would call him a "Clown" on a forum like this.

    Thumbs up

Henry has been in and out of the the Early 911 community for over 25 years, built one of the first RS clones I ever saw, and just sold a modified '72S hot rod to a very discernible collector.......

    Have edited your title........

It cracks me up that somehow prospective buyers believe they can make demands regarding how a seller sells.
If the guy doesn't want to post pics or follow up that's his prerogative. He will suffer the consequences for that. (If he didn't follow through after you gave him money, that's different.)

The buyer's power lies in whether he buys or not. If someone doesn't like Henry's method, don't buy from him.

Having said that it sounds like a friend needs to help this poor guy out with his ads and run interference for him.

Turns out that "clown" might have been too nice of a word to use for this guy...

That's hilarious. Henry really does have some issues.

    Is he Canadian?

By innuendo on this thread, it sounds more like he has health issues than deliberately trying to be a crook?

If so, we should feel sorry for him.
