The Real Porsche Cars and Coffee Aug 2

Yes, the San Francisco Cars and Coffee will take place on Pier 32 at the foot of the Bay Bridge in San Francisco at 7:00AM, Saturday morning, featuring Porsches of all years and models. But, the REAL Porsche coffee and donutfest is being held at the opposite end of the Bay Bridge from 9AM till 1PM. Attend the SF event in the early AM then show up in Emeryville for the EarlyS Registry/RGruppe get together any time after 9AM. I think it is a bit unfortunate that the organizers of the SF thing didn't do a little research before committing to put on a Porsche centric event on a day that is reserved for our event as well as the 356 Registry breakfast on the peninsula. What is done is done and I wish them well. It should only take about 10 minutes to get from the SF event to here. We can't forget about the NOR - CAL Vintage VW & Porsche Treffen 2014 on Sunday in Concord, either. There are plenty or excuses for not getting home projects done in the Bay Area this weekend.

The Pier 32 event has been moved back to 8AM start. I personally preferred the 7AM, but 8AM will work too. There will be a fairly large group of us that will hit Pier 32 at 7:30 is and head out for your event at 9:15. See you then - I will bring you some Peets.

Thanks for the offer of the Peets. You guys should arrive about 10 or 15 minutes after leaving Pier 32. There should still be parking on the street in front of the shop. A line of double parked cars should already be forming. Just double park and grab a donut and a cup of coffee. No need to pay anything. There will be a can to stuff some money into, though. It is purely optional and the proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Society. I really can't claim this event as my own, either. It is the monthly meeting of the RGruppe and also of the Nor Cal chapter of the Early911s Registry, and happens on the 1st Saturday of every month. I just provide the place and a few dozen donuts and fresh ground and brewed coffee.
I hate to sound ignorant but what is the "PPC"?
