    I also have a 901 347 081 10 wheel dated 3 72, but my grip is not as thick...cross-stitching except for the thumbrest, where it's baseball stitching.

    And the grip itself is not flat on the front, but matches the wavy look of the back. the wheel was attached to this solid hub, numbered 103; extended hub?
