    . . . A Car Like Yours

    Wow . . .

First off --- thank you Heinz for advertising your car here. One of the reasons I first came here --- to this site . . . was to find cars like yours. Most people like 'clean' + 'correct' + 'restored' + usw . . . and well --- I'm not most people. Gimme dusty, drippy, scratched, not-so-shiny every time

Secondly --- thank you for putting yourself out here + starting a discussion like this. A lotta people --- both still here + not + never-to-return . . . would never do what you're doing. I wonder how many here --- the posters on this thread . . . will bring their 'babies' here + invite the comments being made . . . when the Time Comes? Good for you!

And I can't comment on your car. I've not seen it for myself. Haven't driven it. Not laid a hand on it. Even you + I have never met

But --- like I said . . . yours is the kind of car that I come here for

Good luck with your sale. I hope we help you find a Good Buyer

And I'm not impartial here --- not even a little

    Because I found my car here . . .

True and really sad when one thinks about it. I can't imagine being so thinned skinned myself.

    Hhhh

    Things 've changed, Luke . . . I know

    The regard these cars have now . . . + the attention . . . + the prices

But I would still rather come here --- to The Early 911S Registry . . . to look for/learn about/discuss Early 911 Stuff, than any place else

    IMO . . .
    . . . Buyers + Sellers need to feel like they'll get a fair shake ---- + a fair shot . . . at transacting a car --- or anything . . .

    . . . or they won't come

I remember first coming here, 5 years ago. I think that I've got a pretty thick skin but some posts/posters were not exactly welcoming

Lotta 'lurkers' here, now --- more than ever

    Wonder why . . . . . . . . + what they make of all this

    Fun?

    How about one rule . . .

    Isn't the car advertised @classicdriver.com?
It would of most likely ended up being discussed on this board one way or another...

    Rick,
I appreciate everything you do here but this smells a lot like brown nosing.
Heinz is a big boy. I don't think he needs atta-boys or anyone running interference for him.

BTW: I'm way ahead of you. I'm advertising my rust bucket Bahama Yellow 69 911S here for all to critique and make fun of.
And it won't bother me a bit. It's just a car.

I have to agree with Luke; anymore this is a tough place to find cars.
Main reason I come here is to get moderated.

    Hmmm

Well --- there's no quid pro quo. Never met the Man. You, neither, for that matter

All I can say is Heinz has the kind o' cars that I like. And if Guys Like Him quit coming, here? . . .

. . . then Guys Like Me won't get Cars Like That

And if that's brown-nosing, then please pass the Charmin

Gotta remember . . . I consider myself prolly the luckiest f%&% on this board . . . . and I will pay that forward for as long as I'm here

    Hhhh. Golden Rule, My Friend

PS How's that 'moderating' working for you, anyway? Avatar + signature, now? Need any Charmin?
