Congratulations to Brian Fryar and David Conklin

    Patrick — The Family 911S

What a wonderfully told story about Brian's INCREDIBLE 1971 911S by David in the August issue of Panorama. Frankly, I'm amazed no one has posted anything here yet. The car is absolutely everything anyone here could want in an early 911 and a hell of a lot more. David's writing is at it's very best.

    Well done you guys. Congratulations.

Brian's had that car almost 5 years, now . . . but doesn't post much about it, here. I've come across it exactly twice

First time was after I saw it advertised for sale in the Panorama, drove up to Santa Cruz, CA to see it . . . + Mr Lee McKay --- see post #12 . . .

Second time was Rennsport Reunion IV, Laguna Seca --- various posts but especially #305 . . .

Spectacular car --- w/ tons of history --- papers/pics/even the original Zoll plates (?) . . . probably one of the best-kept/-documented cars around

Guess I gotta read my Panorama now, huh?

Just got around to last month's Pano and this article. Excellent effort on a very special car!

I remember seeing Patrick in the corrals at RRIV. Evidence of my brief encounter...

Thanks guys. It was an absolute honor to get the opportunity to tell this story. Thanks to Mr. White for being available and saving so much of the early artifacts, Mr. McKay for keeping such great records and of course Brian for letting me do the story. =)

Always enjoyable to read Dave's words, and I'm a fan of Marc Urbano's images. Top class!
