Yes, you are correct. Talisker is north of Islay (Isle of Skye) and very close in character. (I´m no snob, so to me they all taste almost the same ) Talisker is one of my definitive favorites. Another one is Lagavulin.

    Great photos!

Around here I can leave the best Scotch in the world out and nobody will touch it. Seen by the locals in the same vein as garlic for vampires. Now mind you don't leave the "Pappy", "4 Roses" or "George T." lying about. Those will be inhaled and worse yet probably with Coke or Ginger Ale.

Colonel Hill, Early Times or Ancient Age is all the heathens need.

I've got a bottle of Woodford Reserve that's "loaded" with some real swill that I used to leave out for an ex-in law. He had talked me into buying a new bourbon swearing it was really good. The trouble was that when the son of a gun visited he left that alone and drank my good stuff. I fixed his ass. That bottle next to the real Woodford Reserve looks like watered down iced tea.

This did cause a problem when some friends came by one evening before I got home. My wife showed them to the spirit room and they made themselves at home. When I got home "The "Colonel" (Ret. "full bird" army air corp) looked at me and said: "Tom; that Woodford Reserve you have tastes like shit!". (The Colonel can run sailors out of a bar when he's on a roll) LOL. I told him what he was drinking. He poured it out and started again with the real thing. I showed him the difference and told him the story causing him to laugh very loudly knowing who the "mark" was. "HA" "HA" "HA", you got that @#$%^@#$!

Be sure to compare if I send you to the bar on your own.

Cool story Tom! Btw: Over here even young girls drink the most hard core Islay Scotch!

A few shots from the inside the Talisker plant. Will post some more in my thread about the 71E.

Now that's a nice garage! Cheaper to build the garage than fill it with the cars this site is dedicated to!

In the empty shot #45, you will see return duct very top and two supply ducts on the same wall. There are more supply ducts in the flat celling. It's a heat pump so heat and AC.

The thing that makes the most difference to me is a finished floor. I can keep it cleaner, I can slide around on my back easier, and it just makes life better.

I also got a short rolling stool and rolling cart for the tools. Very useful for working on lights, and doors, etc.
