    Remove drivers seat

    The drivers seat on my 1971 Targa needs to be restuffed. I tried to remove it, depress the underseat lever and slide seat forward, but it moved a good bit and stopped. Is there some trick to removing the seat??

    You have to unbolt the seat.
    They don't just slide out.
    Move it forward to see the rear bolts and move it rearward to see the front bolts.
    Be careful, they strip easily.....

    Harvey,

    Thank you very much. I slid the seat forward/back and indeed there are 2 allen head bolts on each end of each rail for a total of 8. Fortunately I was able to loosen all 8 with an allen wrench. So just remove the bolts and lift the seat and rails out of the car?
