Thread: Code 096 on a 1973 Carrera RS

    Code 096 on a 1973 Carrera RS

I was browsing my Carrera RS book and I found an April 1973 car with an option code 096, but that code is not part of the code description page (p120).
Can anyone pls shine some light on this?
    Thanks in advance!

I have noticed that one in the past and could get no answer on it. There are a few others as well. Only 1 car with 96; also code 256 - 2 cars; 472 - 2 cars; 541 - 1 car; 560 - 2 cars; and 970 - 1 car.
I think that all, at least most, will be typos. I have provided this feedback to Dr K and I expect the next edition will have them corrected.

i don't have any information on a time, I am sure that doing something like this is like a car restoration but in this case possibly more than "double the time and double the money". I understand that there might be some "scope creep" the writing equivalent the "while we're are in there we may as well .............." For someone like me that is great as it gives me a great reason for buying the new book despite having the old one since the early 90's.
