John has been doing body work for over 40 years now. He has seen it all. And for the last 5 years now he is fully equipped with his own paint booth and cellette bench. He is always swamped with work. Chris

I would like to see a picture of the left side front. Unless it is too painful for ya. If you don't mind.

Yes. The actual drop down portion failed. Ball was still locked onto the trailer. Once the other car hit me, it sent my SUV into a light post at about 25-30mph, and the force of the trailer broke the hitch. The hitch on a land rover is a unique system, looks like a cast piece. Just too much force for it to hold up.

I didn't realize another car had hit you, thought it was just from a very sudden stop,,,,that would have been asking a lot for the hitch to have not failed,,,,that really sucks

I was towing the blue car, when another car ran a red light while I was driving through my green light at the intersection. The other car hit my driver a-pillar at about 40mph, sending me into a light post. That sudden impact at the light post broke the hitch.

I hope your neck is okay. You can get soft tissue damage that takes a while to show up... ask me how I know.

Oh, and let me join the chorus on Esposito. i don't recall ever before being pleased to write a 5-figure check to a body shop, but I felt John gave me my money's worth.
