    Well done, as usual.
How do you manage to find the right position for the stickers?

Truth be told...there are variances in how the decals were placed in the day, and on restorations today. Looking at many images of how the decal is positioned, I installed them based on my interpretation of how it should look. The key is to get it on straight... properly aligned with the door opening edge. I think it is interesting that restoration shops in the US do not apply the black outlined decals, while many in Europe do.

It wouldn't be the same as the '73RS? There is a spec in the manual for that..

It was probably intended to be the same as the 73 RS, but looking at factory or pics of original cars it appears the placement varied somewhat. Notice the spacing compared to the torsion hole and door edge on these pics.

I stuck a couple of black painted rings on the H-4s to see how they look against the red.

The factory used black headlight surrounds on special versions of 911s back in the day....and still do. It seems a bunch of guys like them for their own 'special cars'.

Even Minichamps felt a special 911 RS needed black surrounds...
