Thread: The Ultimate 1969 Soft Window Targa (SWT) Thread

  1. #51
Looks like things have been quiet on the topic so thought I'd share a couple of photos from our visit to the Tail of the Dragon back in April 2016. I'm hoping to find a new steward for her in 2018 and am having my local shop do a complete check up in February, a pre-PPI if you will. Just did 2 new Interstates this week. Hoping someone on this thread may know someone looking. Thanks.Name: DAV_1418.jpg

    My 69 softie.
    Paint to sample.
    It's a 912 though. Probably rarer than a 911.
    Does it still count ?

119210282 (a verified SWT from page one of this thread)

Dec 2023 - For Sale on PCARmarket
    https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1...a-soft-window/

    More SWT mythology in red.

The seller would like you to know: "Thank you for looking at our auction. This is a super rare Soft Window Targa which there were only 18 made in 1969. This car underwent a three-year nut and bolt restoration and is like new. The car is located near Prague, Czechia, Europe. A worldwide delivery can be arranged. We have transport prices ready to the USA with https://www.marlog-car-handling.com/...europe-to-usa/ who are professional and with whom we have worked for a long time, Prices are in own 20-foot container or combination with 3 cars as well as insurance for buyers. They have offices and agents who help buyers with customs handling and so on. The insurance costs 1,5% of the car value. We believe the import duties aren’t applicable when the car is from the USA or when it concerns a car older than 30 years."
