Thread: Anyone else have hagerty ask for a storage inspection?

    Hagerty has a specific program for cars under restoration, where the value increases as work is put into it. I insured a recent project that way.

    And by the way, to the prior comment about underwriters, I believe all 'name' insurance companies have underwriters: Hagerty, AAA, Leland West, Grundy, etc.

    When I "down graded" a couple of my in vehicles that are in restoration from full coverage to whatever they call restoration coverage the savings was almost nothing. Hardly even worth the time in conversation. But saved a little non the less.

    I have insurance with a broker named Condon & Skelley. They specialize in classic and collector car insurance. They have been golden with claims, insure "agreed value", and are priced less than Hagerty. I heartily recommend them.
