Another value question 71 T Targa nonmatching sitting for 10 years

    I've been negotiating for a 71T Targa
Nonmatching 2.4 L 72 motor reportedly rebuilt 10 years ago.
The paint is not the original color and it is not in particularly good condition.
Front pan needs to be replaced.
Car has not been run for eight years.
Any idea what this might be worth.
I offered 16,000. Seems to me that it will need paint some engine work general sorting.
    Thanks

I'd say that is very fair considering what you'll likely be spending on it. Probably more than double your purchase price. Unless of course you do all your own work.
