There's an alleged 2.7 RS engine on sale ... they claim the SN is *9740238* ... which kind of engine is that (provided they got the number correct)?

This crusty engine has been in a previous sale. I inquired about the serial number as the one given is obviously wrong and I never received a response.

I have seen this engine in person: it's the real deal. It was a factory replacement engine without a #, a PO had it stamped 9740238, a non-RS mystery number. Great opportunity for anyone with a real RS case but missing all other parts or someone who wants to install this in their RS and safely store the original engine. No affiliation by the way.
