I think it's the later Hardi pump. 80's?

NOS like the one I purchased in the above link, are blue with a clear cap. Where as the replacement pump available now has a blue plastic cap.

It's still a reasonable price, for the correct style pump, and correct for a 69T, and possibly others.

trying to figure this out with the very different responses
jim says the years listed are the years the pump DOESNT fit
raspritz says its the correct fitment
ed mayo says raspritz is outvoted-'nope'
304065 says it fits 69-73 skoda, trabant, etc but NOT Porsche 911
john says yes 68 911 etc with webers uses one
Johnson says 69t w/webers uses one
back to jim again-he says the part no. on the box is bogus-it didn't come thru the parts Porsche system
john again-says zims and pet think the hardi pump is used and shows pics-pet says hardi pump and uses the same part no.
then skip has a link to what a hardi pump is supposed to look like
and finally classic thinks it a later hardi pump-earlier has blue clear cap or blue plastic cap
    so wondering whos correct
    anyone know???????

It's kind of confusing, but it's the same pump that is used on the webers of my '67 engine, but not the one used on my '72T MFI system. I think what you're going to find is that is a pump for a carbed engine but not for MFI. Perhaps somebody can respons who can make it a little clearer for the poor guy so he can sell his pump, and somebody else doesn't buy the wrong pump.

The pump is not "NOS". It is a replacement pump, made by Hardi, to fit 67, 68 and a few 69 911Ts.
Is it my duty to identify parts for sellers? I don't think so!
I have spent the last 48 years of my life, serving Porsche owners and repair shops, who depend on me to sell them the proper part, properly described, and at a reasonable price. If I don't do that I expect to suffer the consequences. I have never gone to my competitors and asked them for help and wouldn't expect them to to.
Paul is a customer of mine but he is also a competitor.
I spend a significant amount of time per day answering questions, IDing parts, and advising people that the Carrera RS part that they are about to buy on EBAY is actually from a 57 VW. I receive absolutely no compensation for my time and am glad to help. I don't feel the same obligation to a potential competitor, I do it anyway, in most cases.
I am usually happy to do that but every time I do, I take a potential sale away from my own business, my only business and my only means of income.
Yes, I know what that pump is and what it fits and what is doesn't fit. Paul's description is incorrect on many levels.
I don't believe for a minute that he had and intent to deceive or lie to anybody, but his assumptions are not valid.
Go back to the first line in my post. It replaces a Hardi pump that came on 67, 68 and some 69 911ts. It will not pass any half way competent concourse judge. It is clearly different in shape and size and appearance. It will perform just fine and fit in the same holes as the original. It just isn't quite the same.

    Regards

    Jim

As usual, Jim clears up any confusion!
