    FS: @eBay - '73 911S for $275K?!?!

No association at all, just ran accross this and thought I was seeing double for a minute... did not see any discussion on this car

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911-...s#ht_63wt_1263

Is this guy taking crazy pills or are car in this condition really selling at this price? I could see a pristine original bringing this price, but for $275k I would expect much more...

What joke. For $275K one should be able to eat off of the undercarriage or it should be such an original car like Frank Beck's T that he is selling and nothing in between.

That is what I was thinking, just wanted to make sure I haven't gone completely nuts yet The detailed description is what really sets this one apart I think!

"Silver metallic paint Black all leather interior Rebuilt 2.4 liter engine using RS specs @210 HP 5 speed gear box Factory tinted glass Factory Air conditioning Limited Slip Differential Electric sliding sunroof Front oil cooler Touring seats with head rests Correct 15 inch alloys w/ period correct tires Front lip S spoiler All matching numbers Matching paint codes $35,000 in restoration receipts Car runs super strong Detailed engine bay Front trunk area is rust free Original tool kit and jack Please contact me with any questions. For the record

I really like the patina on the headliner around the sunroof... well worth the price of admission~

Reminds me of housing in 2007.
I remember house prices in 2007 reached a point where subpar homes were listed at prices so far above market that they would never even get an offer. And then BOOM! it was all over. BUST.

I wonder what he'd want for the car if he included all 6 cylinders......

    Also says power windows.

For $275K, I'd want a fresh headliner, thankyouverymuch.

So what was the result of the eBay auction for this $275k gem? The auction picture below shows a reference on the rear license plate frame for a Twinsburg, Ohio dealer Switch Cars. No silver '73 911S coupe listed on their website.
