    Kardex help needed

If anyone has any insight into Kardex or info on one of my cars I can use some help. It is a Polo Red 67 Normal sold by Mahag in Munich, nothing unusual on the Kardex except for a 902/5 trans and a seemingly short life . The body shows signs of rough use, (replaced panels and bodywork above rear axles pushed up). The trans could be hillclimb gears but I dont have the original. When I got it the roof had been cut off and the number in the trunk cut out. i always thought it may have been a rally or hillclimb car but have no provenance on 307482. Thanks, Rick

    Is it a 902/5 or 902 / 5 gg = 902 / 5 gang (5 speed) transmission?

The first owner was a lady? (Rita), it came w/ chrome wheels, velour mats and wooden steering wheel. Not very rally-like?

Please post some pictures of your car.

Oh well, no hillclimb trans, but a short life. I had a 356 Belgian roadster that was crashed early, rebuilt at Reutter, raced and crashed before I got it. So this Kardex doesnt show the full trans type, just that it is a 902 five speed? What gears are in that? It is still just a rolling tub but I installed an swb sunroof clip on it, probably 15 years ago. Rita could have had a wild ride to distort the rear frame rails, Like Dukes of Hazard. I did that once with my first 911, crunched the gas tank and exhaust. I think 307482 did have a second life painted very brigh orange-red as I found it, with lots of Bondo and replaced panels, maybe it was rallied or raced then.
