SS tanks are fine. Just wondering about the seals in the pump. Try it with some Berryman Chem-Dip, then let us know how that works. That's nasty stuff.

PS: PineSol. Avoid using full-strength on aluminum and copper.

Sharpertek 1220 Degreaser / Carburetor Cleaner

Common sense and the warning label on the machine, both tell me not to put anything flammable in there, definitely not Chem-dip. The whole point of this is to avoid Chem-dip. I can still remember what that nasty stuff smells like and it's been years.

I tried some simple green and the results were marginal.

I then purchased Sharpertek 1220 Degreaser / Carburetor Cleaner and the results were very nice. The chemical is specifically designed for cleaning carbs and I'm pleased with the outcome. I used about 3 oz. in a gallon of hot water.
