    You know I'm a Nos-addicted guy...

    But this time, perhaps thank you to the color of the wood essence, I'm really excited....

    so different in colour to most all of the other 'restored' wheels I've seen: great find and THANK YOU for posting as a point of reference!!!!!!

    Receiving the ESSES just today, I thought it couldn't get any better than the steering wheel on the cover. But,......my wood wheels are all much darker than the one on the cover of ESSES. Goes for my alu and steel ones.
    Well here is one..........really nice (txs for posting indeed!!), my wooden rim colors are not too bad after all.....

    Yes , much darker than all the repro/old steering wheels I saw until now...

    Keep in mind that mahogany, like cherry and walnut, is a photo-reactive species. The wood naturally darkens over time. This wheel was most certainly much lighter when new.
