    Txs everyone!
I believe the sequence of the photos in the thread is more or less following the sequence of time, how did we plan that !?
1/ Meanwhile I know my (*) badge was taken off a 356 and does align with your descriptions, although I doubt about the solidity of the early badges and certainly cannot judge the beautiful red that Typ901 is talking about.......unfortunately. I'd love to see a picture of that for restoration purpose
2/ The eagle of mine has a sharp arrowed collar, seemingly sharper than John's and certainly sharper than Jim's photo's
3/ The stars of John's have sharper points than Jim's and the tail, head and back hoofs of the horse are very different. Mine and John's look alike

(*) it is not mine yet, but was offered like this and needed yr judgment before I make an offer. It needs a lot of work and discoloring during the enamel baking process is a big risk, still not sure

2 badges from Spain. the plating on the nice one looks almost new while some of the paint has left the scene. the other one spent some time in the elements.
I'll see if I can dig up pix of a first generation E.F. Weinmann. I don't have one in my collection & have only had a few over the years. they go quickly even @ $$$$$.

    I have none
My question concerned a piece offered to me. Owner says no inscription in the back.
