FS: Very Nice Original Orange Bar Hood Crest, Smooth Back

I found this hood crest in my Porsche parts supply. I had it for as long as I can remember but I cannot say for sure how it came to me. It could have come from a '65 912, or a '68 911. Both cars in my past.

The part is in very good shape with all the cloisonne complete, no cracks. It has s smooth back, no pebbles, which supposedly indicates the very first generation up until 1971. Also all the back side markings are in the correct place, with the R exactly located above the 0 of the 901 marking. The crest also has the appropriate patina of an original Porsche emblem:

    The price is $690.-
