Very sad indeed. Unfortunately, the issues that contributed to the closing were magnified yesterday. Idiots doing burn outs, a nasty collision between a modded Miata and Ford pick-up at an intersection, close calls between pedestrians and cars in various parking lots, folks jay walking everywhere, massive traffic jams, etc. The good news is that the car culture is alive and well out here, bad news is we've lost a pretty good location. I have an alternate C&C closer to my house so I can still get my fix(Much more low key and a complete lack of idiots so far). Hopefully we'll hear about a new spot soon.
