    A Singer at EASY

I thought about it long and hard, and decided to just post the images without my totally superfluous and opinionated commentary, in order not to unduly influence the undoubtedly equally opinionated and all too frequently negative and cynical commentary of those who perceive the Singer enterprise much differently than I do. I would not assume anyone actually would do such a thing if it weren't for the fact that many already have in the past……..in some instances without ever even having seen a Singer in the flesh.

The car posted here is Serial #2, is owned by a local enthusiast from Marin County, was built in the summer of 2010 and unlike current examples is not a 964 chassis, rather, is based on a '88 911 Coupe. It bears evidence of regular use and looks and sounds very good indeed.

Before it became Ruprecht, my Porsche was a '70 911 T

    I think it looks like a ...911.

I am not sure if it is the purest saying they don't find the Singer fascinating or if it is the $400k price tag - or both

So, if given the choice, would the purists choose an 88 911 instead of the Singer?

I can't speak for all the purest but I would take the '88 and pocket the other $350k or take the $400k and find a nice RS
