    WTB: 1965 wooden dash

    Hi,

I am looking for a 911 1965 wooden dash trim. Does anybody have some or know about a place that makes good repro's?

    Thanks, frank

After I mucked up my original wood dash trying to re-finish it, I took the resulting mess to a local cabinet shop. He made a new set for $80. Another shop tried to recreate the original finish, by matching from the sample under the ash tray pull. If you have nothing to work with, I could help you out with my patterns. DanWood trim.jpg

I believe Bruce Crawford still does these. I can vouch for his work. He's an artist by any standard.

    Ok, thanks a lot.

Can I use the alu dash as a pattern for the wooden dash?

    Regards, frank
