Please post if you have a heavily Option short wheel based 911
Is this How the Porsche family cars were optioned ?
There is a page of posts on Rare options.
But not one on loaded executive cars whatever you want to call them
Just putting it out there the early S club Seems to be the place to collect that kind of information.
    Thanks

Would love to see a photo of your car even in “project form”. Sounds like a very special car. I’ve never heard of “executive cars” or “family cars””?

I thought if you wanted a particular option, you checked that option box when ordering the car. My 66 was initially ordered with 3-4 options on the Kardex. Prior to picking it up at the factory, the first owner added an additional 8 options. The Kardex reads “Barverkauf” before listing the additional 8 options. I was told barverkauf means cash payment and the payment probably took place at the factory which added the additional options and the info on the Kardex.

Unfortunately for me, the 8 options added were all cosmetic accessories and not the real deal goodies like LSD, sport seats sunroof etc.

I think you could order whatever option you desired if you had the funds. I doubt certain options were meant for family members or you had to be an executive.

There certainly were executive cars. I owned a 72S built for Jack Cook president of Porsche Audi US at the time. While it did have some features available to everyone it also had some pre production items not available. My 67S is also an executive car but designated at the dealership not the factory.

    Wow, impressive. Two executive cars.

I wasn’t aware about pre production items not a available to non executives.

    Thanks for that info.

Still in project form. Most all the options are still with Porsche
    The passenger side, power antenna
    Rear wiper assembly
Mirror on the driver side sunvisor
    Etc.
Just wondering, in this market what would the value of this car be restored?
And let me know if there’s any 1967S Porsche’s option as well as this?

So the car was delivered with Recaro Sportseats in origin leather. It would be great so see a picture of these seats. Especially if the origin leather is perforated or not. Very exiting

    Original piece for Correct color
Again, just wondering what the value would be with this type of 1967S restored to a very high standard. Would it be in the upper categories of values in the 1967S. Thanks for for your opinions before I dive in.
