I've never seen a Scandinavian flick used in a proper tarmac race at >100mph!

Wow! You sure know how to drive a 911, Phil.
The two cameras make great viewing.

Absolutely awesome! And as crew of two of the cars in that gaggle of 5 I'm amazed at the quality of the editing. 99% of the shots are actually from the correct laps in consecutive order! It's exactly the race as I saw it live, and that feeling is rare when seeing a "televised" version. Extremely well done, I tip my hat to you Chris and Neal!

are these car running more or less standard suspension? Torsion bars? Dampers?

Am assuming no sway bars as they weren't on the original cars, and looking at just how taily they are ... to use the late great Possum Bourne's saying... back it in and stand on it.....!

Tyres tedned to go off as well, or was everyone just driving harder? The footage of the Bates car (EB Motorsport) is a joy to behold.

Im guessing they are pretty stiffly sprung, and set up for the tyres, don't forget they are Dunlop bias-ply, not modern R-specs.
