    Racing long studs

    Hi the experts!

I want to put wheel racing long studs on my beloved Trudi (2.8 RSR tribute)!

    Like these:

And I found the long studs and the steel open lug nuts by SMC:

But I'm wondering about the tool I would need to fix my wheels afterwards! I use actually a cross tyre iron (?), but the tube is full and couldn't work with the long studs.

    Any help or idea...?

    Thank you in advance

Use an extra deep socket and appropriate wrench or impact driver.

Thank you Bill. Good advice. But I also have to find the tool to use with the deep socket...

Just use a 1/2" ratchet / torque wrench.

Good idea! But do you think it's long enough with 11 inches rear wheels? The deport is important with Fuchs 11 wheels and I need the ratchet torque wrench to be «outside» the wheel to turn it. Sorry for my poor english...

Just buy the appropriate extension(s). They make them in many lengths...

Do you plan to use wheel spacers behind yours

For what I know about 2.8 RSR, they didn't need wheel spacers. Did they?
