    1971 911t

Hi everyone, my wife and I bought our first 911 today! It's a '71t hardtop coupe. I'm picking up the original engine sometime soon, but I've got a complete engine (71t as well) I'm tinkering around with to use in the car for the time being. She is gonna need a lot of work, but surprisingly isn't in that bad of condition the previous owner (owner #2 I believe) removed the engine in '89 (he suspected water got into the motor and tore it down, I've got reassembly to do in the near future...) and the car has sat in the garage ever since. It's been preserved beautifully, only minimal surface rust, yet it does need the front suspension pan replaced. Well, I'll keep everyone updated with the progress we make on her and I'm sure I'll be on here asking LOTS of questions, (what is this/where does this go, etc)Name: 1971 Porsche 911t.jpg

Nice. Leaf green is considered highly desirable by collectors, so if/when you're ready to change back, you'll be the hit of the local Porsche gatherings. Congratulations and welcome to the slippery slope.
