    3/4 window seal question

Has anyone tried these seals http://www.sierramadrecollection.com...pe-p24376.html from Sierra Madre Collection or should I stick with originals at twice the price.

    Hi Bob,
I find SM really nice to deal with. Good guys, keen to help.
However, that seal is a bit problematic, as 901.543.901.20 is actually for the later fixed window models. If you have pop-out windows, like most of them are for the indicated years then the part number is wrong.
You need 901.543.191.20, which are there same for L&R sides.

    Hi Bob,

I bought the "orginals" from SMC at twice the price and they didn't fit very well and were extremely difficult to put on.

If I ever had to do it again I'd buy the cheapies (couldn't be any worse than the more expensive version??).

    Cheers,

    Harry.

I had Vic Mills, who did a photo thread on the installation procedure, recommend parts heaven. I know from the archives that the installation can be frustrating so I'm trying to avoid as much difficulty as possible before I start.

A better source out there. The ones I received did not fit. They weren't the correct size. Straight side was 1 inch shorter than the window and they did not stretch without tearing. Seal was 11.5 and the window is 12.5. The last photo is my old seal and it is 12.5 inches
