    Unfortunately Karim got it right ... there are loopholes in the legislation and scarce interest in enforcing it ... this part of the world is getting a playground for scumbags.

    It is so f%&#d up that EU can´t coordinate their own legislation when they are totally dictating what non member states can do or not...

    Will post the info on the Norwegian forum.

    To come back to european grand theft methods:
    most of the cars are stolen as a contract job - this means you can order a car to your specs and get it delivered . .
    Due to old airfields in east germany, the cars then been flown out with in hours after they had been stolen . . gone forever.

    Call it whatever you like ... I don't think there is need of a specific "geographical adjective" ... there is demand for spare parts and these m!@#$@#$ers have easy life due to the inaction of the authorities ... why do you think there are so many unmarked shells on sale?

    In the 90's you heard they had the wherewithal to track a car's location with an electronic pulse (device) placed strategically.

    They can track a sailboat in the middle of the ocean.

    Twenty years later and relentless technology, and little is said about it.
