Recent Bloomberg article on BMW Coupes mentions vintage 911's

Ironic timing for me for this article to come out. Pretty true and interesting how this came out right when I made the move.

Nice article but 'old news' in my world. Bought and sold a few just 3 years ago for unheard of money. Lets not talk about CSL's! Grew up with them as well from early 70's as daily drivers. These have always been classic, hand built BMW's.

These are really lovely cars. I sold Bobby Rahal this CSL a couple of years ago which is on the market now if anyone is interested (PM me).

Nice looking CSL. There's a previous thread on this topic, as well. I have a coupe now, which I have enjoyed for almost 10 years. My first foray into vintage car ownership was a (rusty) coupe that I finally sold and replaced with a nearly identical (sans rust) coupe. They carry a much more palatable price tags than early 911s, and haven't appreciated in the same way.
