Interesting reading...... but... are you sure that McAfees aren't fake-o Gurneys? Also, was the esteemed Mr. Gurney connected with Gurney wheels or is that.. fake.. also?
    Just wondering

[cough cough.. I have a set of 5 old Gurney wheels]

    Two more wheels

I have these two wheels. On the backside they are marked 5.5 X 15 , the spinner nub is threaded and the spinners screw on. Repro or real ?

Looking for a pair of original Mc Afee wheels

    Hi all.
I'm seeking a pair of 5.5x15 McAfee wheels
just like the pics (except prettier)!
If a set of spinners are available that would be great too.
    Thanks!
    Peter

Anyone have a photo of a SWB with these, without the spinner? Would love to see how they look. Interesting Fuchs alternative.

I think you are referring to the Dan Gurney wheels. I recall that American Racing made them. BUT be careful if you google Gurney wheels ..... you might get these.

    Eaton,
Not a SWB, but here’s a LWB - my 911S with my set of McAffees on it.

Wow, talk about reviving an old thread! In hindsight I wish I would’ve never sold these. However I can say that about so many things! Great looking white 911 with those wheels!
